Around Stadhampton
Wedding guests do not all leave together
Oxfordshire County Council lists the Crazy Bear Hotel in Stadhampton among its approved ceremony venues. For guests, the transport question often comes after the ceremony and reception have been planned. Some will have rooms at the venue; others may be returning to nearby accommodation or travelling home.
Our wedding and event travel enquiries can include those guest journeys. Early departures and the final collection are separate parts of the evening, each with its own passengers and destination. Guests staying at the same accommodation may find it practical to travel together. The group travel options give the organiser a starting point for discussing those journeys, alongside individual bookings for people heading elsewhere.
Onward travel
The morning after an overnight stay
Leaving a hotel brings a different pace to the journey. There are bags to collect, a room to check out of and perhaps another night’s accommodation to reach. A taxi booked around the time you expect to be ready gives the departure a definite shape, without requiring one guest to return later for a parked car.
Wedding outfits, weekend cases and gifts make the morning’s luggage quite different from a dinner guest’s small bag. Suitable space in the car makes that departure easier, especially for a group continuing together. For guests staying for lunch after checkout, a later collection can extend the visit; any temporary luggage storage remains an arrangement with the hotel.
